Position Overview:

The Director of Field Management Office (FMO) is responsible for leading all field deployment activities for our field resources, partners, dispatch and coordination teams that support the pre/post sales service delivery of complex IT services and solutions. Additionally, the Director of FMO will be responsible for the assignment, development, training, and support of a global geographically disbursed team of field management coordinators, FMO managers, dispatch managers, technicians and partners. Corporate initiatives include, but are not limited to Tenrox reporting and management, resource utilization, statement of work development, modifications, approvals and financial management. This includes offices currently in Clifton Park, NY, Richardson, TX and Pakistan, with growth plans for India in the near future.

What you’ll do as the Director, FMO:

  • Proactively lead FMO delivery and approvals for multiple concurrent projects, tracking completion of action items, resolving issues, mitigating risk while monitoring financial performance.

  • Lead and direct FMO to deliver project deliverables & documented scope on time and within approved budget.

  • Partner with Finance to ensure financial reporting, forecasting are aligned with Company budgets.

  • Present FMO capabilities, methodologies and delivery messaging to prospect customers for Pre-Sales and RFX responses to include orals.

  • Built client relationships with key customers providing FMO delivery leadership representation.

  • Ensure FMO negotiations across multiple functions to resolve field conflicts and competing priorities.

  • Communicate as required to meet FMO objectives and goals.

  • Continuously assess FMO based on key metrics to achieve goals.

  • Ensure best practices and project management tools & processes are applied to address unique situations.

  • Influence executive leadership within the business areas to create and maintain alignment around the F MO business objectives, measurable benefits, success criteria, scope, and constraints impacting FMO delivery.

  • Review internal management processes, make recommendations for process changes, communicate changes with senior leadership and implement appropriate processes.

    What you will bring to the team:

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Equivalent experience will be considered

  • Advanced degree preferred

  • 10+ years required for field management, dispatch centers and global teams supports field dispatches and global deployments over 24x7x365 coverage.

  • 10+ years required of large global project rollout experience

  • 10+ years required of experience in information technology or business operations

  • Customer and service centric mindset

  • Have the ability to: Lead, influence and persuade without authority

  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skill

  • Experience in financial management, manage P&L, forecasting

  • Experience in managing several projects simultaneously with varying customers, deadlines, and requirements

  • Experience with the following : Process improvement , Conducting root cause analysis (RCA) , Facilitating complex problem solving and assessments across departments

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to lead across departments to achieve a single objective

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet aggressive deadlines

  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills

  • Contract and/or service level management experience desired

  • Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project

  • Some travel requirements
