SENIOR FOOD INSECURITY & ECONOMIC MOBILITY CONSULTANT - Training/Technical Assistance

The Workforce Innovations, Emergency Preparedness and Poverty Solutions (WIPPS) Team works to improve the conditions of America's most at-risk populations and provide strategic consulting support to workforce development agencies throughout the United States. WIPPS has a broad portfolio of projects in human services and workforce development. We are seeking a senior staff member with expertise in human services policy and practice - with a particular emphasis in FOOD INSECURITY & ECONOMIC MOBILITY - to lead and/or support research, evaluation, and technical assistance projects in the domain. Our work is done in a professional, collegial, and intellectual environment that allows individuals the latitude they need to perform work that parallels their passions.

ICF is actively seeking a senior consultant with expertise in public human services, including food security, employment and training, or related benefit assistance programs. Specific areas of responsibility may include:

• Provide expert subject matter expertise to projects supporting public human services programs that involve food security, such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and/or the Special Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).

• Conduct training and technical assistance needs assessments and provide training and TA based on the results of those assessments.

• Lead research and/or technical assistance teams in delivering high-quality projects

• Build a pipeline of opportunities that align with ICF’s objectives to promote a robust human services infrastructure across targeted domains.

THIS IS AN ON-CALL, part-time hours position based on project needs.

We are open to supporting 100% remote work anywhere within the US.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, liberal arts, or related discipline.

• 10+ years of experience in food security or cash assistance policy development and interpretation, designing and delivering multimodal technical assistance or quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) across targeted domains.

• Minimum one year providing training and technical assistance needs assessments and providing TTA

• Demonstrated success as a leader in federal and state human services programs, including supporting federal, state, or local human service departments.

• Demonstrated experience with public human services regulations, policies and procedures related to food and cash assistance programs.

• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex programs and projects.

• Demonstrated experience in producing high-quality, professional visualizations, presentations, reports, and other data products.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$76,848.00 - $130,642.00
