Wolters Kluwer DXG U.S. Inc. seeks Database Analyst & Developer II in Renton, WA.
- Collaborate with Database Administration team to support all environments and technologies.
- Collaborate with Database Engineers/Development Teams to review schema and database changes to ensure the performance and availability of the production environment.
- Collaborate with release engineers to implement complex database changes in support of the application deployment.
- Collaborate with data architect to consider and advocate for architectural and technology changes, considering product roadmap, and timing implications.
- Install, patch and maintain all SQL Software to help develop a Patch Management and Version Control process.
Implement and maintain database security including creating and maintaining users and roles, as well as assign privileges.
Telecommuting permitted.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, plus 2 years of related experience. Additionally, position requires any amount of experience with each of the following:
- MS_SQL Database Administrator skills in a Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC) environment with Log Shipping, Mirroring, Always-ON replication, and HADR architecture.
- Design and Deploy Microsoft Azure SQL and MySQL PaaS solutions in Microsoft Azure Cloud.
- Data Warehousing, Data Lake technologies including Azure Synapse or AWS Redshift with multiple terabyte databases.
SQL Server and MySql, including backups and master-master replication.
