Legrand has an exciting opportunity for aRMA Shipping Clerkto join theData Center Power & Control Division Teamin Reno, NV.The RMA Coordinator will perform basic and routine inspection and dispositioning for product under the Return Credit RMA process. The RMA Coordinator also will support the Quality Control laboratory testing by performing routine inspections on mechanical and electrical components, manufactured assemblies, and physical measurements of PCBs. As secondary responsibilities the RMA Coordinator will perform basic and routine inspection of products manufactured or processed by private companies to ensure compliance with engineering specifications. This position ensures that all assigned duties are performed quickly, efficiently, and according to the established departmental and company policies, procedures and goals.

The RMA Coordinator, as with all members of the Legrand Team, is expected to promote a positive attitude, demonstrate initiative, professionalism, personal awareness, integrity, and exercise confidentiality.

What Will You Do?

  • Independently perform routine tasks to inspect and disposition product under the Return Credit RMA process.

  • Coordinates and communicates RMA progress and discrepancies to necessary parties.

  • Independently perform PCA/part/subassembly/finished product build and quality validation sampling.

  • Perform tests on product to determine approval or rejecting and writes report of examinations.

  • Identify and disposition non-conforming parts, assemblies and finished good products.

  • Troubleshoot and isolate physical and functional product defects.

  • Perform work in a safe manner. Report repairs or safety concerns to management.

  • Maintain compliance with all ISO regulations and procedures.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills

Education:

  • Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Experience:

  • At least one year of experience and knowledge of PDU product and Legrand quality standards.

    Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Ability to read and interpret orthographic drawings.

  • Familiar with mechanical measurement equipment and tooling.

  • Ability to understand and apply the elements of corrective and preventive actions.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide information across multiple groups.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

  • Ability to resolve problems involving several variables in standardized situations.

  • Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to work independently.

  • Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel/Outlook).

  • Read and understand BOMS, Wiring and Layout diagrams for use in product build verification.

  • Familiarity of ISO 9000 standards and audit process preferred.

  • Familiarity with SAP software is preferred.
