Generac Clean Energy seeks a well-rounded individual to support our growing team of employees with a variety of facility-related tasks. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, with high energy and a desire to join a fast-paced growth company. This position is based in South Portland, ME, and reports to the Office Manager.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Support the growing Clean Energy team in a myriad of business activities including:
Facility:
Greet visitors, provide top-notch first impression and route to appropriate team members
Oversee kitchen and general building cleanliness and liaise with office cleaning services or 3rd party contractors as needed
Arrange event logistics for onsite and remote events including meetings and interviews
Provide facility access to employees and visitors
Administration:
Manage onsite meals, events, and employee activities
Support the team on diverse projects that keep the office thriving
Receive incoming packages and mail; assist with outbound shipping as needed
Purchasing:
Stock and track inventory for kitchen, office, bathrooms from coffee creamer to pens to toilet paper
Serve as a purchase requisitioner to assist employees with formal purchase order requests
Occupational Health and Safety Committee:
- Support the Occupational Health and Safety Committee
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and 2+ years’ work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
2- or 4-year degree
1+ years’ experience in property management, office administration, human resources, or a similar setting
Direct experience in an early-stage high growth company or manufacturing environment
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate colors. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be working in conditions typical of a manufacturing environment including seasonal variation in temperatures and occasional exposure to manufacturing fumes or by-products as well as a typical office environment including frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
