SAIC is looking for an outstanding candidate to join our Civilian Business Group in support of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA ATO). SAIC leads the way to provide customer-centric support focused on improving efficiency in the NAS while not sacrificing safety.

This position has operational oversite of a geologically dispersed technical team. This role is an opportunity to develop and demonstrate process knowledge and leadership skills, while playing an instrumental role in the success of the program. Travel will be required to meet with teams, customers or for special events.

Responsibilities:

• Single point of contact and responsible for leading a team of Business Analysts and Tech Writers providing support to FAA facilities.

• Maintain oversight and provide technical management of all work in accordance with the performance work statement: ensure technical excellence and effectiveness in service delivery, while managing the timeliness and cost of all required work and deliverable artifacts.

• Proactive in identifying complex issues that might impact operations and service delivery.

Qualifications

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience overseeing federal contract work with an understanding of contractual language and federal guidance.

• Experience with FAA a plus.

Required Skills and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience is required. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of required degree.

• 2 years of experience managing a geographically dispersed workforce.

• Must possess excellent communication skills, be dependable, outgoing and positive with excellent problem-solving skills.

• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
