Job Title: Senior Computer Systems Engineer/Architect
Location: Remote (Within 60 miles from DC)
Responsibilities:
Performs a broad variety of system design, analysis, and engineering tasks that are concerned with design implementation, and testing of major enterprise systems.
Must possess specific technical experience in the configuration and administration of desktop and server-related computing systems, including hardware, software and networking; detailed analysis and planning capabilities; OS (Windows, Linux, Unix, Solaris) and Virtualization (VMWare, HyperV, Citrix) experience. Integrating enterprise-wide applications into networked environment, remote administration, troubleshooting various software and PC hardware. Leadership of engineering team from concept through project completion.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree: 6 years of field related experience may be substituted for bachelor’s degree.

Manage high-volume (more than 1M messages per day) SMTP relays
Manage the Proofpoint mail security system - Implement, operate, configure, maintain, and replace (before end of support is reached) the Internal Proofpoint Mail Servers; - Maintain Internal Proofpoint Mail Servers using best practices; - Research, Design, and Implement, new Internal Proofpoint Mail Server technologies and equipment.
Diagnose mail delivery issues through several layers of security using only logs
Monitor and manage mail routing using an LDAP directory
Perform inspections with the Bluecoat Proxy SG and SSL inspection systems
Diagnose user connectivity issues using logs
Work with partner entities providing in-depth IT investigations
Work with partner entities modifying policies on IT systems
Monitor and manage Infoblox DNS system as well as general BIND/DNS functionality
Utilize the Xymon monitoring system
Configure Xymon and creating new monitoring modules
Use Xymon to investigate problems
Perform Dynatrace and SNMP-based monitoring
Maintain archival logging for network systems
Implement a Zscaler Zero Trust solution for TIC 3.0 deployment
Manage with Bluecoat IPAM
Administer and manage Unix/Linux operating systems
