Texada Software HR Generalist in Remote, Ontario

Job Description

Texada is seeking our next People Experience (HR) Generalist to join our dynamic team. As an HR (PX) Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our organization by providing comprehensive HR support across multiple areas including HRIS management, onboarding, benefits planning and administration, employee relations, recruitment, and other HR-related functions as needed.

Strategic Value

As a key member of the People Experience team, you will contribute to the overall strategic objectives of Texada by implementing and executing HR initiatives that align with the company's goals and values. Your expertise in HRIS management, onboarding, benefits administration (particularly US benefits across multiple states), employee relations, recruitment, and innovative HR practices will directly impact our ability to attract, retain, and develop top talent.

Work location and travel

This position is remote/hybrid. Our home office is located in Mississauga, ON. GTA candidates preferred. Ideal candidates will be able to work in our Mississauga office on average up to 2 days a week.

How you will be contributing

  • Manage and maintain HR information systems (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and facilitate effective onboarding processes utilizing cutting-edge technology.

  • Manage employee benefits programs for the US, Canada, Australia, and Germany.

  • Utilize AI and advanced analytics in HR processes to drive efficiency and improve decision-making.

  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for new hires.

  • Provide HR support and guidance to employees and managers on various HR-related matters, including policies, procedures, and compliance, while fostering positive employee relations.

  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as needed, such as performance management, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion programs, and other strategic HR initiatives.

  • Support recruitment efforts by assisting with job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.

What we are hoping to find in your background

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 2-5 years of experience in HR, preferably in a SaaS company, with a focus on HRIS management, onboarding, benefits administration, recruitment, and employee relations.

  • Strong knowledge of HRIS platforms (ADP preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience managing benefits programs in multiple countries, including the US, Canada, Australia, and Germany.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a high attention to detail.

  • Previous experience utilizing AI and innovative HR practices to enhance HR processes.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • CHRP/CHRL designation is preferred
