IT Audit Director, Risk Advisory

Location:

  • Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices located in Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Dallas, TX. Other cities are welcome remotely.

  • Office Options: Hybrid or Remote. Team members residing within a 45 minute commuting radius of a Clearsulting office, we expect 8 days of in-person work per month, allowing flexibility choosing these days to accommodate client meetings, team syncs and individual schedules.

  • Travel Expectations: Up to 20%

What You'll Do:

  • Work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience with a heavy focus on US SOX, delivering world-class results for our portfolio of Fortune 500 and Fortune 1,000 clients.

  • Lead and manage IT Sox compliance engagements from start to finish, including: scoping, planning, staffing teams, reporting and managing engagement economics.

  • Help finance, accounting, and IT executives at multi-billion-dollar companies complete their internal controls evaluation and help them solve complex audit problems across the business.

  • Participate in a variety of technology implementations, SOX readiness assessment, integrations, and IT operational projects to provide risk and control expertise in an SME capacity.

  • Manage teams with multiple workstreams while creating a positive work environment; monitor workloads of the team while meeting client expectations; respect the work-life balance of team members; provide candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner; prepare to dive into the details when required, and keep leadership informed of progress.

  • Identify, pursue and win additional service opportunities through understanding a client's business and technology needs

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring team members

What You'll Bring:

  • 10+ years of professional work experience in IT SOX Compliance

  • One of the following certifications: CPA, CISA, CISM or CIA certification.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Strong project management experience with planning and executing on projects including: workplan creation and updates, milestone tracking, risk management, status updates, change management, and communications.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; clearly convey complex business concepts to executive audience incorporating leading practices for business writing.

  • History of maintaining long-term client relationships and networks and cultivating business development opportunities.

  • In-depth technical capabilities, industry insight, and professional knowledge around IT governance frameworks, IT risk management and internal controls.

  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate and manage a book of business
