Job Description

This role is responsible for crucial efforts around enabling critical initiatives—tied to one or more Blue Cross NC core segment/priority area or Workstream—that substantially improve the healthcare outcomes for our members, in context of an enterprise-wide transformation effort.

The recruit will be part of a small, high-performing team—sitting within Enterprise Strategy and Performance Execution division—focused on achieving high-priority strategic objectives and enterprise goals. Team members have an exceptional opportunity to drive impact at the enterprise level and develop crucial leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Specifically, responsibilities represent end-to-end support of Transformation workstream operations, including supporting initiative development and execution, facilitating between Transformation Office and Workstreams, triaging priorities, training and education, issue resolution, and functioning as strategic partners to drive business value.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support work with staff and senior leadership across the company to proactively identify and prioritize strategic needs in context of Transformation and create meaningful and actionable outputs, drive the strategic development process to address these needs, and integrate and align work to the company’s overall strategic goals.

  • Support the development and maintenance of relationships with both Transformation Office, Workstreams, and more broadly to drive project/initiative work focused on business strategies, opportunities and innovation efforts.

  • Assist with the consolidation of outputs and communication of timely, periodic syntheses to Transformation Leaders, Blue Cross NC executive leadership, and Board of Trustees.

  • Participate in critical activities such as strategic planning pertaining to the Transformation.

  • Aid in innovation efforts through collaboration and consultation with internal stakeholders to identify, plan and execute innovation efforts within the Transformation; help them better understand what problems they are trying to solve, articulate their vision and define and enable success. Provide methods and resources to support their execution of those plans.

  • Assist with the development of new ideas that solve existing or emerging issues the business faces.

What You’ll Give:

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)

  • 3+ years of experience in related field.

  • In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field.

Salary Range

$77,200.00 - $123,400.00
