LTCG Manager, Operations - Annuity New Business in REMOTE, Minnesota

The Manager, Annuity New Business is responsible for all Annuity New Business of multiple carrier clients. Annuity New Business department is a fast-paced, high-volume, and critical business function. This role is pivotal in overseeing the processing, compliance, and operational excellence of annuity administration on behalf of our clients. Job Description * Lead the day-to-day Annuity new business issuance and asset transfers while ensuring all service level agreements (SLA) are met * Collaborate with leadership and business partners to establish and document annuity business processes and procedures * Seek to constantly improve business processes through root cause analysis, process improvement and system automation * Manage the flow of new business applications, ensuring resources are properly aligned to meet expectations and processing standards are achieved * Ensure compliance with new business replacement and exchange processing as well as suitability requirements * Develop and implement training programs for staff to keep them updated on industry trends and best practices. * Work with other departments to monitor against key controls such as AML, OFAC and know-your-customer requirements, including timely follow-up with carriers clients * Efficiently resolve escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments * Create and maintain appropriate management reports to inform on progress toward business targets * Serve as the subject matter expert for annuity new business delivery and development * 3+ years of experience in annuities operations or a similar role within a TPA or financial services organization * 3+ years supervisory experience * Experience with insurance administrative systems * Established track record of setting and meeting production and quality standards in an insurance administration environment * Advanced Excel skills used to analyze complex information and identify reasonable solutions * Proven experience with implementing continuous and process improvements along with the strong understanding of supporting technologies and platforms * Demonstrates a high level of initiative and seeks to implement new solutions to operational challenges * Strong communication skills used to effectively interact with external parties - agents, distributors and vendors * Ability to work with multiple competing priorities Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
