Job Description Summary

The Services Strategic Sourcing Leader will manage the sourcing strategy and execution of a given number of services projects in ITO and OTR. They will be responsible to negotiate and partner with the Services buyer to issue service and equipment purchase orders at the right time and right quality within the specified targets/budget. The Strategic Sourcing Leader is responsible for the RFQ/RFP process, supplier negotiations of price and terms, completion of supplier qualification process, identification and the development of supplier panel.. The Sourcing Leader is responsible to settle claims with conditions favorable for GSI. This role will support bid/proposal development in ITO as well by providing pricing and lead time as required.

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Identify, evaluate, quote and negotiate costs for material and equipment in support of commercial bids

  • Work closely with engineering and commercial teams to understand timelines and requirements for supplier identification in tender stage and selection in execution stage

  • Partner with engineering and supplier development team in order to identify, assess, and qualify new suppliers

  • Source and develop certified minority, veteran-owned, women-owned, and small business suppliers to achieve customer requirements

  • Drive KPIs: Deflation, DTP, Quality, Compliance, OTD

  • Implement procedures for continuous improvement, accountability, and efficiency in supplier engagement and execution

  • Negotiate master supply agreements as well as project-specific agreements for equipment and material

  • Ensure compliance with GE sourcing policies and procedures

  • Manage strong supplier relationships including commercial issues

  • Collaborate cross-functionally

  • Balance tactical execution with strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost/lead time reduction

  • Collaborates with Supplier Quality for product/process qualification

  • Leads supplier performance reviews

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in procurement, sourcing, or similar field. Previous experience in Services is desired.

  • Ability and willingness to travel domestic & internationally 20% of the time. Must comply with all relevant company travel and tax policies

The salary range for this position is 94,500.00 - 126,000.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.94,500.00 - 126,000.00 - 157,500.00 USD Annual

Responsabilités essentielles :

  • Collaborer avec l'équipe d'ingénierie et de développement des fournisseurs afin d'identifier, d'évaluer et de qualifier de nouveaux fournisseurs.

  • Rechercher et développer des fournisseurs certifiés issus de minorités, appartenant à des vétérans, appartenant à des femmes et aux petites entreprises pour répondre aux exigences des clients. Piloter les KPI : déflation, DTP, qualité, conformité, OTD Mettre en œuvre des procédures d'amélioration continue, de responsabilité et d'efficacité dans l'engagement et l'exécution des fournisseurs.

  • Négocier les accords-cadres d'approvisionnement ainsi que les accords spécifiques au projet pour l'équipement et le matériel.

  • Assurer le respect des politiques et procédures d’approvisionnement de GE Gérer de solides relations avec les fournisseurs, y compris les questions commerciales

  • Collaborer de manière interfonctionnelle Équilibrer l’exécution tactique avec les initiatives stratégiques nécessaires pour réduire les coûts et les délais

Qualifications/Exigences :

  • Baccalauréat d'une université ou d'un collège accrédité

  • Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience dans le domaine des achats, du sourcing ou dans un domaine similaire. Une première expérience dans les services est souhaitée.

  • Capacité et volonté de voyager au niveau national et international 20 % du temps. Doit se conformer à toutes les politiques de voyage et fiscales pertinentes de l'entreprise
