Job Description Summary

Customer facing staff responsible for winning business. Executes standard sales tasks and typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations. May be responsible for targeted clients, stable regions, and/or small/medium sales territories.

Supports distributors on maximizing services sales opportunities.

Delivers service revenues objectives (across Service offers portfolio: Labor, Parts, Accessories, Solutions).

Roles and Responsibilities :

Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require commercial knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.

Within a geographic area responsible for selling product(s), services, parts, solutions, or projects.

  • Captures assigned service sales opportunities to achieve and exceed touch rate, revenue and annual pricing increases targets in assigned product line and/or customer accounts.

  • Implements proactive call schedule to increase sales growth.

  • Generates proposals, prepares quotations, and demonstrates services value to assigned CP/customers.

  • Prioritizes selling time to build and maintain a balanced funnel of prospects to generate sales, achieves account penetration and drives capture rate in collaboration with channel partners.

  • Develops and maintains consultative sales relationships with all key-buying influences in each account. Utilizes installed base information, sales and service reports/databases, new leads and cold-calling efforts.

  • Tracks call outcomes and opportunities through designated tracking processes and/or customer relationship management tools.

  • Supports and partners with field sales and service personnel in their efforts to sell service value.

  • Follows up on targeted marketing campaigns and maximizes incremental revenue.

  • Ensures seamless teamwork with the Equipment Sales, Product Services Sales specialists, Service Account Leaders, Marketing, Commercial Operations and Imaging-U/S-PCS Devices Commercial leader to maximize all sales potential.

  • Specialized knowledge across product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups.

  • Develop an effective commercial strategy to ensure sales service growth in partnership with distributors in the French-speaking Africa zone.

  • Align the region's strategy with that of GEHC International and lead initiatives to promote service solutions. With a strong focus on the segments: Contracts, On-Demand Service, Upgrades and Digital.

  • Strong commercial awareness, and is expected to influence the development of strategy for their broad sales territory, including management of resources.

  • Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
