As a QA Automation Engineer, you will work closely with developers in your team, QA and devs in other groups and with Product Managers to ensure a high level of quality throughout the development life cycle by applying quality assurance processes and contributing to the development of backend/frontend automated tests.
What you'll be doing?
Join a Scrum team, delivering software using sprint-based delivery and implement Quality Assurance processes
Define and execute acceptance tests and test plans for team epics
Perform functional testing of features for release cycles, including creating/executing test cases, raising defects, configuration
Work with Product Managers and Software Architects to define acceptance criteria and perform product demoes on completed epics
Implement automated API tests for GraphQL/REST and frontend tests for Angular applications
What you'll need to be successful?
1-3 years professional experience in backend/frontend automated test development using Playwright, Karate, Cucumber or similar frameworks – must have
BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience – must have
Experience with k8s clusters, AWS – advantage
Experience with DevOps and standard CI/CD pipelines & tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform) - advantage
Experience with test automation for GraphQL and REST APIs and Angular applications - advantage
Excellent English oral and written communication skills, you'll be working in a very international organization
Strong problem solving and analysis skills, attention to detail, work ethics and self-management capabilities
