Top Flight Automotive Inside Sales Representative in Reedsville, Pennsylvania

Job Overview: As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and revenue growth for the company. Working closely with the sales team, you will be responsible for engaging with potential customers, nurturing leads, and closing sales deals. Your focus will be on leveraging your sales skills to effectively communicate the value of our products and services to prospects. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for representing the company in a professional and courteous manner and helping the customer with any needs they may have.

Duties:

  • Establish wholesale accounts by determining if first time callers are automotive related businesses. If so, the salesperson must:
    • Inform the customer what information we would need to set their business up as a wholesale account.
    • Receive the name of the person who would be managing relations with Auto Accessories of America for the customer, and get his/her telephone number, fax number, and any e-mail addresses they may have.
    • Provide the customer with policies the customer must abide by to maintain wholesale pricing, while also assessing potential annual purchase amount to determine starting discount level.
    • Discuss any current or future needs the customer may have.
  • Field orders from wholesale accounts by providing the customer with the current prices and availability regarding the parts the customer wishes to order. The Salesperson must provide the customer with any information relating to the length of time before they receive their order, any pricing specials, and any credit the customer may have.
  • Ensure wholesale customer satisfaction by tracking orders, answering any questions the customer may have once they receive the product, providing the customer with any product installation information, handling product returns (establishing credit or exchange in a timely manner), and allowing the customer to vent any frustrations they may have.
  • Independently drives and generates growth with assigned wholesale accounts through:
    • Consultative selling
    • Regular analysis of account performance to identify opportunities and successes
    • Communicating and placing New Product Releases
    • Ensuring all CA branded products are placed on wholesaler websites
    • Reestablishing prior wholesale accounts as customers to recoup lost sales opportunities  
  • Communicate sales successes and failures on a regular cadence to the Director of Sales.
  • Field orders from retail customers by answering the telephone and entering the order into the computer, providing the customer with the current price of the product he/she ordered, informing the customer how long the product will take to be delivered, and focused on converting the phone call in to a sale.
  • Ensure retail customer satisfaction by utilizing the same techniques and providing the customer with the same information as indicated in the 4th general description above.
  • Assist our E-Commerce team as needed with reviewing and releasing E-commerce orders, following up with customers' requests for information and help with Customer Service issues.
  • In House only - Miscellaneous duties such as meeting with walk-in customers in our showroom, retrieving customers samples, and getting information from the Milroy facility to help solve any customer problems.
  • Be willing and able to attend automotive car shows and events if requested. This would require out of town travel.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales, Sales & Service manager and/or President/CEO.

     

SKILLS & EDUCATION:

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills and ability to type accurately and quickly.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess an outgoing personality, professional as ertiveness and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of automotive products, brands and terminology a PLUS
  • Experience working in an AS400 Environment a PLUS

*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Subject to prolonged periods of utilizing computers.  Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, squat, and lift or move up to 30 pounds.
