We are looking to hire a Business Analyst/Scrum Master to support our Enterprise IT Support Services work at the Army Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC), Redstone Arsenal. AvMC is the Army’s focal point for providing research, development and engineering technology and services for aviation and missile platforms across the weapons systems life cycle. AvMC’s mission is to “deliver collaborative and innovative aviation and missile capabilities for responsive and cost-effective research, development, and life cycle engineering solutions” to equip the Warfighter with the best technology today and tomorrow.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer and stakeholder relationships, expectations, needs and strategies; Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes and new responsibilities

  • Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level; focus on quality improvement and data management; ensure data is reliable and valid; develop process improvements or re-engineering and recommend elimination; integrate new systems and processes with existing ones; and partner with internal and external customers to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategies

  • Facilitate project meetings and presentations to all types of diverse audiences (for example, senior management, Customers, technical staff)

  • Provide project level analysis – producing required project analysis documentation (business requirements, use cases, sequence diagrams, and future state proposals)

  • Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process

  • Role consists of 75% Business Analysis/25% Scrum Master-Project Management

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, computer science, or other technical discipline

  • Ten (10) years of experience conducting business analysis for federal government clients on programs of similar scope and complexity

  • Prior experience working in Scrum Project Methodology

  • Prior Scrum Master experience a plus

  • Strong technical background (understanding of SaaS/PaaS cloud implementation)

  • Strong client management skills

  • Excellent problem solving and facilitation skills

  • Excellent communication skills (oral/written)

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite of tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Active security clearance

  • IAT Level II certification (Sec+, etc.) desired
