MICROSOFT CORP Technical Program Manager in Redmond, Washington

Job Description: Develop a scalable and effective technical strategy to support the rhythm of the business and organizational goals. Support external audits and certifications for a wide range of IT services and products within the business and organization.  Articulate project goals and scope, translate business needs into technical terms, establish key performance indicators, and manage the lifecycle of dynamic projects associated to compliance and certifications.  Partner with stakeholders both internally and externally to plan and execute audits end to end. Telecommuting permitted 50% or more per week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location. Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Math, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: Two years of experience in centralized and coordinated program/project management and/or experience associated to compliance and/or certifications for IT systems and services.
  • Specific Skill Requirements: This position requires at least 24 months of experience in: IT or system audit; IT general control; Planning, executing and reporting financial, operational and compliance related projects; Enhancing internal audit functions to further align to company strategy and risk; and SOX- Sarbanes Oxley Compliance; and at least 12 months of experience in: Azure; and IT security.

Pay Range and Benefits Information: The offered base pay range for this specific position (job code TSKMX17418), in Redmond, Washington, is $141,180 to $171,180.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. 

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
