Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

Responsible for performing the physical and administrative tasks involved in receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, and supplies, along with maintaining records of materials and inventory. This position requires the stamina to perform repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and the ability to learn new processes, systems, and equipment. Safety and quality are paramount, and the ability to speak up and address issues is crucial.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and distribute materials, parts, and supplies.

• Maintain accurate records of materials and inventory.

• Perform repetitive tasks with stamina and attention to detail.

• Identify and address safety and quality issues promptly.

• Learn and adapt to new processes, systems, and equipment.

Essential Skills

• Material handling experience

• Warehouse experience

• Computer skills

• Manufacturing experience

• Ability to read and understand procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English

• Ability to carry out verbal instructions and communicate verbally in English

• Adherence to safety practices including good housekeeping and ergonomics

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Preferred experience in manufacturing

• Ability to meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends

Work Environment

This role involves physical and mental exertion, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds constantly. The ability to work with small component parts and follow detailed instructions is essential. The work environment is team-oriented, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams and effective conflict resolution. Good visual perception and fine motor skills are required to complete detailed documentation accurately and address minute inconsistencies.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.80 - $22.80/hr.
