Qualifications
Required Skills / Experience / Equipment Operation:
Must have extensive experience and training in metal machine shop practices
Expertise in operation and set up of both manual and CNC metal machining equipment
Extensive knowledge in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
General CNC Programming capability for multiple platforms
5+ years Supervisory experience and proven ability to effectively lead individuals and
5+ years of experience running, setting up, and programming multiple CNC machineplatform types (Horizontal Mills, Vertical Mills, Sub-Spindle Lathes)
Must display and maintain a positive attitude
Must have a continuous improvement mindset and be able to present and implement
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
Ability to reach above shoulders
Ability to walk back and forth through-out facility
Ability to control operation with hand or foot
Ability to lift / carry up to 70 pounds
Ability to turn wrist frequently in repetitive motion

Responsibilities
- The CNC Manufacturing Supervisor is primarily responsible for leading the machining
department and providing day-to-day work direction for the manufacturing team
responsibilities include ensuring production schedule adherence, meeting production Key
Performance Indicators (KPIs) and troubleshooting production issues
performed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that produces existing and new products
Continually strive to improve workplace safety and enforce compliance with Company
environmental, health, and safety standards and policy
Enforce compliance with Company policy and administer disciplinary action as
Review time and attendance for department and submit to payroll in timely manner
Identify continuous improvement opportunities in the machining processes and assist
management with implementing those changes from idea to realization
Provide technical development and mentoring for machinists and setup technicians to
improve skills and capabilities within the department
Assist in training of setup operators and machine operators on multiple machine
Work with Design Engineering as required to resolve manufacturing issues and strive to
improve manufacturability of product design
Assist in implementing and managing an effective machine data collection system
Create and maintain machine shop documentation and provide work instructions to
ensure process control
Ensure proper housekeeping and segregation/collection of scrap materials and waste

Summary:

Requirements -

• 5+ years of experience running, setting up, and programming multiple CNC machine
platform types (Horizontal Mills, Vertical Mills, Sub-Spindle Lathes)
• Must display and maintain a positive attitude
• Must have a continuous improvement mindset and be able to present and implement
positive change
• Brands of equipment in use - Hurco, Bridgeport, Kira, Haas, Toyoda, Samsung, Okuma, Elbo, Hardinge, Smart, Trump, Alva, and others
Physical/Mental Essential Functions:

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
