Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Reading, Pennsylvania. This role centers around managing and organizing financial data, mainly focusing on data entry and processing within the accounts payable function. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

Responsibilities: • Accurate and efficient data entry related to accounts payable • Utilizing accounting software systems to process transactions • Handling accounts payable functions using Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne • Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data organization and reporting • Resolving discrepancies in financial reports and ensuring that all transactions comply with financial policies and procedures • Processing checks for payments and ensuring timely payments to suppliers and vendors • Regularly updating and maintaining detailed reports of accounts payable transactions • Utilizing Microsoft Windows Vista for various administrative and financial tasks • Adhering to and improving upon existing accounting procedures and protocols. • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Prior experience with Great Plains (GPAC) is required

• Familiarity with IBM AS/400 is a plus

• Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is beneficial

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Check Processing

• Strong Data Entry skills

• Ability to handle Discrepancies effectively

• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Vista is a plus.
