Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a proficient Controls Engineer to design, test, and commission PLC control system applications using Rockwell RSLogix. The role involves developing and customizing SCADA application code using WonderWare and GE iFix SCADA software. Additionally, the successful candidate will specify, purchase, and troubleshoot control system hardware and instrumentation. You will also be tasked with reading, understanding, and developing control system design documents such as Functional Specifications, User’s Manual, and engineering reports.

Hard Skills

• PLC Programming (from scratch) - ControlLogix, Rockwell

• SCADA Programming

• Manufacturing / Process Equipment

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Environment

90% office based engineering work with 10% travel to customer sites
