Copeland Assistant Supervisor Procurement and Logistics in Quezon City, Philippines

You will be focusing on supply chain responsibilities, including purchasing, supplier sourcing, contract management, and supplier relationship management for indirect material commodities.

As an Assistant Supervisor, Procurement and Logistics, You Will:

  • Develop and implement strategic purchasing strategy for cost savings and streamlined procurement.

  • Monitor the delivery of goods and evaluate supplier performance.

  • Handle domestic, import, and export shipment requests with timely updates.

  • Manage RFQs for shipments, negotiate rates, and validate courier invoices.

  • Renew government permits, coordinate asset disposal, and manage supplier accreditation.

  • Receive and process deliveries, update IT databases, and maintain transaction tracker.

  • Develop, monitor, and review annual objectives and individual development plans for team members.

Required education, experience, & skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in any Business or Engineering courses; a diploma in Supply Chain is a plus.

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in supply chain function, preferably in purchasing and/or logistics.

  • Proficiency in overseeing concurrent projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion of each.

  • Possess strong negotiation skills and a track record of securing advantageous terms, prices, and agreements to optimize organizational value.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as adept in using Power Platform for enhanced productivity and automation.
