We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a detail-oriented HR Generalist in Queens, New York. This role is integral to the efficient functioning of our human resources department and requires proficiency in a variety of HR functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for updating employee records, preparing personnel reports, and assisting with payroll and time management.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately update and maintain employee records

• Prepare and deliver comprehensive personnel reports in a timely manner

• Process requests for time off, absences, and leaves from employees

• Assist in the onboarding and offboarding process of employees to ensure a smooth transition

• Assist with payroll processes including time management and checking for missed punch in/out times

• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations

• Handle employee relations with a professional and empathetic approach

• Administer compensation and benefit functions

• Utilize HRMS and ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode for efficient HR processes.

Skills required:

• Experience with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode and Ceridian

• Familiarity with HRMS and About Time

• Knowledge of benefit functions and compensation administration

• Understanding of compliance requirements in HR

• Strong skills in employee relations.

Requirements

• Possession of a minimum of 2 years of experience in a HR Generalist role.

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is required.

• Experience with Ceridian, HRMS and About Time software is necessary.

• Comprehensive understanding of Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration.

• Proven ability to manage Compliance in HR practices.

• Strong skills in Employee Relations are vital for this role.

• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
