At Prestwick Service Centre we are specialists in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft engine nacelles systems and engine components.

An opportunity has arisen within our Finance Department for the role of Finance Business Partner. We are looking for a dynamic individual ready to take on a new challenge in their career. The ideal candidate will be someone that enjoys working as part of a very fast paced organization and will be part of an empowered team that embraces change to meet evolving business requirements.

The successful candidate will be able to challenge the norms by going beyond the numbers to give meaningful analysis and commentary aligned to business needs and decisions. You will play an important role as a strong business partner, able to influence and add value to all parts of the business.

This is an onsite / hybrid role.

Primary responsibilities:

• Support senior finance management team with the delivery of month end reporting.

• Identify efficiencies and build improvement on current financial processes and reports.

• Communicate effectively with non-financial stakeholders providing timely and meaningful information.

• Work with budget owners to provide variance analysis vs plan and forecast

• Individual job, product and customer profitability analysis

• Analyse and challenge data on emerging trends and provide meaningful information to support decision making

• Support the forecasting & planning process

• Adopt a culture of compliance, ensuring our continued high levels of controls

• Compliance with all RTX policies and procedures inclusive of EH&S, Code of Ethics, Intellectual Property and International Trade Compliance requirements

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified or QBE ACCA/CIMA

• Proven track record of data interrogation and analysis

• Highly competent in Microsoft Office, in particular excel

• Knowledge of SAP and Power BI, or equivalent reporting tools, are advantageous

• Capable of working in a dynamic and fast paced work environment

• Able to provide a level of flexibility to ensure key deliverables are met in line with strict or tight deadlines

• Ability to take ownership of key duties, ensuring they are completed to a high standard

• Excellent technical, analytical and problem solving abilities

• Ability to understand complex business processes to ensure robust reporting
