Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions business provides risk transfer, claims advocacy and capital management solutions, enabled by data and analytics, to help our clients navigate this volatility and uncertainty. The Global Growth Operations team supports colleagues in Reinsurance Solutions to accelerate growth. Currently we are looking for a Business Development Manager to be based in Prague and work with colleagues around the world, with a principle focus on EMEA including the UK. The position will report directly to the Head of Growth Operations in London. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Prague office.
What the day will look like
Drive RFP and new business opportunities by helping to define and explain the differentiated value Aon will deliver
Write and edit content that is accurate, concise and explains the subject matter clearly and Aon’s value
Develop clear and compelling storyboards and presentations
Ensure that design supports content and messaging
Provide coaching and development support on live sales opportunities
Work across business and geographical boundaries to help teams bring the best of Aon to clients
Work with leaders on each RFP and project to drive best practice
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years’ industry experience
Financial and broad business understanding, with an interest in current and global issues
Experience of working competitive tenders or pitching for new business.
Ability to explaining complex and technical subject matter clearly.
Strong writing and communication skills in English and other CEE languages.
Working in teams and managing internal stakeholders
Working with graphic designers
Ability to understand situations quickly and identify the best course of action to deliver the best outcome
One-to-one and group facilitation to achieve outcomes and develop new thinking
Ability to lead a presentation rehearsal
Initiative-taking, proactive and flexible attitude
Efficiency when working under pressure.
