We are on the lookout for a Sr. Tax Manager in the Pottsville, PA area. This role involves managing a range of tax-related tasks within the financial services industry. You will be expected to handle tax matters related to individual, corporate, and partnership clients, deliver tax projections, conduct tax research, and engage in special projects as requested by clients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and review multi-state income tax returns for business entities, including C‐corporations, S-Corporations, partnerships, and fiduciary returns.

• Oversee the process of U.S. and state individual income and gift tax returns.

• Coordinate with clients and colleagues to address various tax matters.

• Conduct comprehensive tax research as required.

• Deliver accurate tax projections for individual and corporate clients.

• Participate in client consultations and provide tax-related advice.

• Handle special projects based on client requests.

• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations.

• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or advanced degree (e.g., MST) preferred.

• 8 + years of experience in tax compliance, planning, and accounting, with experience in a supervisory or managerial role.

• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

• Familiarity with Ultra Tax software and QuickBooks
