Location: SE Portland

Compensation: $19.77 - $21.85 hourly

    Who You Are:

    The Cathedral Village Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) is a part of CCO's resident services team and will plan, coordinate, and provide services to support residents, build community, and offer social and educational programs to improve the stability, quality of community life, and wellness of individuals and families.

    What You Will Work On:

  • Identify resident needs; carry out services, programs, and activities for residents; work in partnership with other community resources and agencies; facilitate connections between volunteers, services, and residents; orient new residents to available services.

  • Foster and promote positive relationships with residents.

  • Follow up with residents on notices issued by property management; assist residents in understanding the details, potential implications, and opportunities to resolve notices; and report outcomes.

  • Provide information and referral services to residents.

    What You Bring:

    Education, Certifications, and Licensure Requirements/Preferences

  • Bachelor's Degree (4-Year Program) or equivalent lived and or worked experience.

    Experience Requirements/Preferences

  • Minimum 2 years' experience providing information and referrals and advocacy and/or case management, required.

  • Experience working with survivors of domestic violence; completion of 40-hour Domestic Violence Advocacy training strongly preferred.

  • Preference for applicants who have worked with or have lived experience with the following groups: African Americans, Latinx, immigrants and/or refugees.

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
