FCC Indiana Inc. Customer Quality Engineer in Portland, Indiana
The Customer Quality associate acts as a main customer contact for quality defects.
Responsibilities
- Engages in investigations of quality defects, using problem solving tools.
- Customer trouble report resolution
- Organize and hold countermeasure meetings as necessary
- Manage in house trouble reports
- Interact with supplier quality and engineering to resolve customer quality issues
Skills
- Adept understanding of gauging and blueprints (GDandT)
- PPAP and SPC experience
- PFMEA/Control Plan basic knowledge
- Data analysis - Minitab experience or similar
- Ability to continue to grow and develop skills
- MS Office proficiency
- Ability to interpret and present data in meetings
- Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in team environment
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Associates or bachelors degree preferred, or relevant experience
- 4+ years in manufacturing environment required
- Previous experience in quality role preferred
- Prior experience with Microsoft Suite and ERP software preferred
- Communication, teamwork, cooperation
Schedule:
- 1st shift
- Monday-Friday
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime as required
