Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - 2nd Shift

Job Description

Join our maintenance group where you will be critical in maintaining the operational efficiency of our industrial production machinery. This role involves performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs to automated machinery such as nonperforming machines, waterjets, conveyors, and stamping cells. From day one, you will be expected to conduct preventive maintenance and respond to urgent machine malfunctions. Your ability to handle electrical or hydraulic repairs independently is essential.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Port Huron, Michigan.

Work Environment

You will be working in a manufacturing setting focused on producing carpeted products for the automotive industry, including a soundproof, weather, and waterproof backing for vehicle floorboards. The facility features multiple stamping cells requiring frequent hydraulic and mechanical repairs. Each shift maintains a team of two technicians, operating across three shifts to ensure balanced preventive maintenance. Working hours for the 2nd shift are from 3 PM to 11 PM, with potential overtime available, including double time on Sundays.
