Job Title: Maintenance Custodian
Department: Maintenance
Shift: 9AM-5:30PM(1^st^ Shift) or 12PM-8:30PM (2^nd^ Shift)

LogistiQ is seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Custodian to join our team. This person will be responsible for Maintains interior and exterior cleanliness of site building and grounds.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following. *Other duties may be assigned. *
- Maintain trash and trash dumpster.
- Facility cleaning includes sweeping and dusting of office area.
- Monitor and maintain restroom facilities including paper towels and toilet paper.
- Handle equipment including cardboard compactor and floor sweeper.
- Wash interior / exterior windows as scheduled (quarterly).
- Light maintenance includes changing light bulbs.
- Miscellaneous tasks include pickup and delivery using company vehicle.
- Outdoor maintenance as needed including shoveling of snow and salt spreading in winter months.
Production refuse, operating forklift to empty dumping bins.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No direct reports.
*QUALIFICATIONS: *
- Mechanical aptitude to operate small equipment.
- Must be organized to handle many small tasks in a day.
- Strong attention to detail.
Able to work well with minimal supervision.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High School or GED equivalent
- 2 years janitorial experience in manufacturing facility preferred.
- Valid Drivers' License, good driving record.
Forklift certified and/or experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must have basic reading and writing skills.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Basic data entry skills including how to print documents.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
