POSITION SUMMARY: The Vice President of Information Technology will plan, design and direct all operational activities of the IT department, as well as provide direction and support for digital transformation, data management, process automation and IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations. The Vice President of IT will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective data and technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. This role will provide corporate leadership, vision, and direction for the IT department, ensuring alignment and support of the Company's business objectives and requirements with a strong focus on data infrastructure and IT modernization; and will structure the IT team appropriately to fulfill those objectives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provides leadership, vision, and management to the IT department, and develops appropriate policies and procedures. Manages, coaches and develops 5+ direct reports with a team of 20+. Collaborates with various departments, including operations, finance, marketing, and property management, to drive technology initiatives that support business objectives. Develops and executes a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with Dominium's business objectives which supports business intelligence, data analytics, and decision making. Champions digital transformation including data management, advanced analytics, governance and automation; and leads initiatives for process automation and efficiency. Analyzes the technology needs of the organization in order to determine proactive solutions to satisfy the business needs for the company. Identifies emerging technology trends and assesses their potential impact on the real estate and property management industry. Streamlines existing IT systems and processes to enhance efficiency and scalability. Oversees activities such as hardware and software installations and upgrades, programming and system design and developments of networks. Facilitates IT project development, priority setting, oversee appropriate system design and ensure overall compliance with regards to software and hardware licensing issues. Provides support for all network, video conferencing and telecom infrastructure to ensure company, regional office and remote site needs are met or exceeded. Directs the effective delivery of networks, data infrastructure, and disaster recovery systems and processes. Ensures data integrity, security, and accessibility across all platforms and system. Responsible for the budgetary process of the IT Department and for negotiating with vendors to purchase equipment and other information services. Creates, prepares and delivers formal training presentations as necessary. Others duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related business degree with data and technology focus. Ten (10) years of experience supporting mid-size technology infrastructure with support of remote locations. Excellent interpersonal communication, analytical change management and operational skills. Must have technical knowledge to understand and supervise the work of subordinate IT staff and the ability to explain the work to individuals who lack a technical background. Significant experience in data management, applicatio system management, networks, telecom, video conferencing and project management. Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to delegate tasks ensuring their timely completion, monitor performance and coach, develop and motivate staff. Effective time management and project management skills. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effecting working relationships with various levels of people both internal and external to the organization. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and the ability to identify, develop, improve and streamline processes and procedures. Desire to continually upgrade relevant skills, technical knowledge and abilities. Ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to meet operational business needs.
