Job Summary and Qualifications

The Manager of Education is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of the education program for the Patient Logistics Center (PLC) and Medical Transport departments. The scope of this work will include standardized onboarding for both staff and leader level new hires, ad hoc education to support strategic initiatives, and continuing education for both staff and leaders. The key areas to be covered by the program include technology/systems, tools, compliance, processes, soft skills, and professional development. This role will be responsible for producing education deliverables as well as providing in-person, remote, and hybrid trainings to both staff and leaders.

What you will do:

  • Execute and prioritize education based upon the needs of the business and in accordance and alignment with company strategy

  • Work collaboratively with Group, regional and Division leaders to develop education standards

  • Solve advanced/complex operational problems with minimal oversight.

  • Work with the PLC and Medical Transport leadership team to identify learning and development needs and prioritize education development

  • Have the ability to work independently with general supervision and escalate issues as needed

What you will need:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field required (RN Strongly Preferred)

  • 4-6 years professional work experience in the spaces of technology, healthcare, and/or education

  • Experience managing, designing, and developing online educational content required

  • Excellent education facilitation skills, including virtual delivery, live instructor-led delivery, and e-Learning / recorded media required

  • Experience in healthcare operations strongly preferred

  • Experience with LMS (Learning Management System) administration, such as HealthStream, preferred
