Description We are offering an opportunity for a Data Governance Analyst in the manufacturing industry based in Plano, Texas. This role involves managing and organizing data, ensuring compliance and regulations are met, and migrating to cloud-based data governance platforms. This is a contract employment opportunity with potential for long-term engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the transition from an on-prem solution to a cloud-based Informatica IDM solution with CDGC

• Utilize Informatica tools to manage and govern data effectively

• Analyze and interpret data to inform strategic decisions regarding compliance and regulations

• Assist in the migration from EDC, AXON, IDQ to Informatica IDM solution

• Utilize skills in Data Governance, Metadata, and Cloud databases to optimize data management processes

• Ensure data compliance and regulations are met in accordance with industry standards

• Collaborate with teams to understand data needs and implement appropriate data governance strategies

• Monitor and maintain data governance systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity

• Handle and resolve data-related inquiries in a timely manner

• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data governance. Requirements • Proficient in Informatica software usage and application

• Demonstrated expertise in Data Governance

• Extensive knowledge of Metadata

• Familiarity with Cloud databases

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey complex data

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Capable of handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Understanding of data privacy standards and regulations

• Experience with data models and data mapping

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Familiarity with data quality principles and methodologies

• Must have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
