SOFTWARE LABS, LLC Lead Data Analyst in Plainview, New York
Software Labs, LLC is looking for Lead Data Analysts to work in Plainview, NY and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Requires a Master's degree in Management Information Systems or related field and exp. in Database Management, SQL Server, TFS, Delphi and MS Office Suite. Send resumes to hr@software-labs.com, REF# 5319.013.Job Duties:Review current system errors to write a statement of work (requirements) to resolve application issues; Lead Business requirement gathering, analysis and design sessions; Analyze raw files received from various business users and third-party companies; Collaborate in the planning and design of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications; Create a data mapping document to map the data in the files to the system specification using Advanced MS Excel; Work closely with developers to design a solution that helps automate loading files into the system; Validate the files to make sure they are loaded into the Revenue Reconciliation software accurately by performing extensive Quality Assurance checks on the data using Snowflake(SQL) and Advanced MS Excel operations; Detect trends, commonalities and nuances associated with data, document and track them using Atlassian JIRA; Work with data engineering teams to source data needed to and provide insights to drive fintech innovation in the insurance industry; Work collaboratively with a broader team of employees, contractors and vendors to reach a common goal on tight timelines and quality of work; Adhering to established implementation processes via professional communication and documentation using SharePoint. Use of Database Management, SQL Server, TFS, Delphi and MS Office Suite. Travel may be required. Minimum Requirements:Education: Master’s Degree in Management Information Systems or related field. Experience: 6 months experience in the position offered or in a related position.Special Requirements:Aforementioned 6 months of experience must include use of the following skills: Database Management, SQL Server, TFS, Delphi and MS Office Suite.
