JOB REQUIREMENTS: Kraemer North America is currently looking for an experienced IT Technician to join our team in our Plain, WI location. This position will provide end-user guidance and technical support with any problems with laptops, servers, telecommunication devices, applications, peripherals, tablets, and other hardware. Perform system administration, including managing the life cycle of accounts, permissions, access control lists, folders, while ensuring account security procedures are implemented and enforced. Participate in user testing, implementation, documentation of all information technology department and the end-user procedures. Responsibilities: Installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting computer hardware and software preferably in a business environment. Working knowledge of PC Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows 10, 11 Server 2016, 2019 and 2022 familiarity a plus MS 365/MS Office including email (Exchange Online). Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint Assist users with mobile device issues such as email and application deployments. Remote troubleshooting (via GoTo Resolve, MS Teams, MS RDP) Ability to resolve technical issues while working with a wide range of user levels. Create and maintain I.T. support documentation & procedures. Stay current with information technology systems and industry trends. Prioritize workload as assigned by management and requests by end-users. Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business. Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software. Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems. Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support. Develop training materials and procedures, or train users in the proper use of hardware or software. Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications. Modify and customize commercial programs for internal needs. Inspect equipment and read order sheets to prepare for delivery to users. Oversee the daily performance of computer systems. Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service. Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to easily grasp understanding of business requirements, goals, and objectives interpreting these into technology solutions. Demonstrated ability to apply information technology in solving business problems. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products. Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language. Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking and prioritizing workloads. T. Technical Certifications CompTIA A+ Certification REQUIRED Network+ or MS IT Support a plus. Familiar with computer networking hardware and software (cabling, routers, switches, firewalls, Access Points, VPN clients) Familiarity with construction software like AutoCAD, Bluebeam, OPC, HCSS a plus.
