The Program Coordinator for International Programs position is responsible for a variety of administrative duties in the Office of Belonging and Inclusion to support international student programming, student organizations, and the development of global leadership programs. The Global Ties program is committed to welcoming our new undergraduate international students into Pitt's campus community and fostering a true sense of belonging and support. Global Ties was created as a means to cultivate a more inclusive campus for undergraduate international students in a manner that is relevant and specific to their needs. This position assists to prepare for intercultural training and workshops for international students for their smoother transition and for staff and faculty to better understand international students' needs and backgrounds. The position works closely with 15-20 student leaders (Global Ties Mentors) who mentor first-year international students and support retention efforts including recruitment, training, and assessment. The position attends and supports a wide range of other activities, events, and programs for international students and the campus and broader community.

Job Summary

 

Manages, develops, and implements enrichment programs for students. Evaluates and improves programs and ensures adherence to regulations, guidelines, and curriculum standards. Develops support materials to promote enrichment programs.

It's primarily sedentary with a few events that include traveling.
