Join our team as a creative science writer and contribute to a leading scientific brand. Your attention to detail, writing precision, digital marketing knowledge, and understanding of scientific concepts will be crucial in creating compelling copy across channels. As a resource of scientific knowledge, you'll ensure our marketing communications address customer concerns accurately.

A day in the life

  • Excel in creative and technical writing to drive impactful marketing campaigns and enhance the customer experience.

  • Brainstorm and develop compelling creative concepts to support marketing strategies.

  • Craft innovative and customer-centric marketing communications that adhere to brand standards and best practices.

  • Develop copy that effectively highlights product features and benefits to engage the target audience.

  • Provide scientific and healthcare expertise to educate writers, content authors and designers.

  • Optimize website copy for a seamless customer journey.

  • Continuously expand knowledge to inform and differentiate our marketing communications.

Keys to success

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Science, Communications, English, Journalism, Advertising, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience, or a Master's Degree with at least 3 years of experience.

Experience:

  • Marketing writing experience, including creative concepting for agencies or retail brands, as well as experience working with highly technical or scientific material, ideally gained from a research lab or healthcare setting preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

  • Proficiency in developing targeted marketing messages and creating compelling marketing content for clinical, healthcare and scientific audiences preferred.

  • Skilled in simplifying complex subjects for consumer understanding.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Ability to simplify complex scientific and healthcare topics for clear communication preferred.

  • Understanding of customer engagement methodologies and ability to innovate.

  • Initiative, problem-solving, collaboration skills, and effective multitasking abilities.

  • Familiarity with scientific and clinical terminology and awareness of research and healthcare trends preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Pennsylvania is $68,200.00–$105,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
