Manager, IS Security Services The Manager of IS Security Services is responsible for the security systems that are core to the infrastructure of FirstHealth of the Carolinas and also provides support and guidance to a group of engineers and analysts. Responsibilities, depending on existing corporate need, include: · Responsible for timely updates and complete documentation of all IS Security Services tools, configurations, and processes under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Information Security. · Accountable for performing day-to-day system administrative functions specific to network and information security in an efficient manner. · Compliance with established security systems’ configuration standards and best practices. · Provides management with understandable and actionable information regarding information security assets. · Uses data analysis tools and systems along with proven expertise to ensure optimum performance and uptime of the security systems and tools. · Researches, develops, and evaluates security solutions in support of complex business requirements. · Ability to act autonomously in maintaining the corporate security systems. · Ownership over all facets of the corporate security systems, including performing needs analysis given the current environment and future requirements. · Definition of acceptable service level thresholds and monitoring compliance with those thresholds, with immediate and decisive action taken when alerts are received. · Responsible for improving the standard of technical operations and competencies within the team. · Coaches, counsels, and appraises employees regarding performance and/or disciplinary matters. · Handles all human resource responsibilities for this section of the department. · Promotes a positive and professional image of the Information Systems Department and of FirstHealth of the Carolinas Qualifications: Education and Formal Training: Four year degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Network Communications or Information Assurance, or equivalent combination of education and advanced industry experience Work Experience: Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible, work-related experience implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting network, information and physical security solutions including: Firewalls, IPS, NAC, VPNs, SIEM, DLP, Email Security, M365 Security and Compliance, Vulnerability Management and IP Video Surveillance. Other related Information Systems experience is also preferred. Certification: · Certification as a Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) for Security or SANS: GCIA, GCFA, GNFA, GPEN, equivalent security-based certification, or significant additional advanced experience in this area.
