Eaton Corporation Riveter Machine Operator- 2nd Shift in Pinckneyville, Illinois

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Riveter Machine Operator- 2nd Shift on 2nd shift. The shift hour are 3:30 pm - 12:00 am Monday - Friday. Overtime may exceed these hours, and can be mandatory at times. This is a full time, direct hire position. The rate for this position is $16.17 per hour and $0.40/ hour shift differential. This role does not require a high school diploma or GED; and is open to all entry level skillsets. Apply today if you are ready to start your new career in manufacturing! What you’ll do:

  • Be responsible for operating Riveting machine(s)

  • Assist in forming and/ or punching operations.

  • Handle materials varying in size, carrying up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation

  • Check product dimensions.

  • Accurately read and use measuring devices such as a tape measure, micrometer, protractor

  • Maintain 5S standards.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • No relocation offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Pinckneyville, IL in order to be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

  • Authorized to work in the United States without Company Sponsorship

Preferred qualifications:

  • Press brake operating experience

  • Manufacturing experience

  • Experience working in a fast paced environment

  • Forklift experience

  • Experience using a variety of measuring tools

Position Success Criteria:

  • Obtain a license to operate a fork truck in a safe, responsible manner.

  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs., and push/pull 25 lbs with or without accommodation

  • Ability to stand, reach, and lift constantly

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
