Description:

This Systems Engineer will be working with a team that are utilizing dynamic simulations to model takeoff and landing functions for aircraft. When working with a model, one must be able to understand the required inputs from various requirements and then feed back that information into the requirements based on the results provided by the model.

Required Skills:

• Matlab or Simulink Experience

• Writing and Interpreting Systems Requirements

• Dynamic System Modeling Experience within the Aerospace/Avionics Industry

Education/Experience:

• 3+ years' experience in related field

• B.S. in related engineering field

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Avionics Surveillance Experience:

• ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast) In and Out

• TCAS (Traffic Collision Avoidance System)

• Industry Documents / Standards:

• DO-260: ADS-B performance standards

• DO-317: additional surveillance performance standards

• DO-178: software considerations

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level
