Responsibilities

The Center for Transitional Neuro-Rehabilitation (CTN) at Barrow Neurological Institute (BNI) is seeking an outpatient clinician interested in the neurorehabilitation of patients with acquired brain injuries in a unique and highly established holistic milieu-oriented center. The BNI is a world renowned neurosurgical and neurological institute. The CTN is the last step of a full service BNI rehabilitation continuum and is designed to successfully transition patients to their homes communities school and work environments.

Expectations:

  • Candidates should have experience in evaluation and treatment of neurological diagnoses.

  • Some administrative and case management responsibilities are associated with this position to ensure cohesive interventions.

  • The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a large vibrant interdisciplinary team composed of neuropsychologists rehabilitation psychologists speech therapists physical therapists occupational therapists recreational therapists a dietician physiatrists and a psychiatrist.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Internship or rotation in appropriate clinical setting.

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.

  • Computer skills.

  • Arizona License in professional area.

  • American Heart Association BLS.

Preferred:

  • Two (2) years progressive experience in clinical area performing patient clinical care.

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in appropriate clinical area.

  • Prior use of electronic health record.

  • Aquatics Lymphodemia orthopedics and neuro Physical Therapy experience highly preferred.

Pay Range

$36.96 - $53.60 /hour
