As a Machinist Level 2 at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining various machines to produce precision parts. You will work with a team of skilled technicians and collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and customer requirements. Your expertise in machining processes will contribute to the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing operations.

You will report directly to our Machining Supervisor and you'll work out of our [City, State] location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the production process by ensuring the accurate and timely production of parts, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and operate various machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines to produce precision parts • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications • Collaborate with other team members and departments to troubleshoot and resolve production issues • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
