Cornerstone is seeking a Head of Global Accessibility to join our Product Design Team. As a Head of Global Accessibility at Cornerstone, you will play an integral role in our ideation and product development process working closely with fellow designers, engineers and closely collaborating with Product Managers, Product Strategists, UI Designers, and Software Development Engineers to create world-class accessible Talent Management solutions for the largest enterprise employers and organizations in the world.

Role Overview: You will be a hands-on leader who will be responsible to assure that our product experiences comply with accessibility standards and best practices; oversee prioritization list for accessibility and work with engineering to deliver on plan.

In this role you will …

  • Scaling the current Accessibility program from ground up

  • Coaching Engineers and Designers on what accessibility and inclusive design stands for.

  • You will work very closely with peers in Design Systems, Engineering, Product Design, Product Management, User Research, Legal, Marketing and more to determine a shared vision and roadmap for Accessibility.

  • Partner with the design systems team.

  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams.

  • Lead a team of Accessibility SME and consultants.

  • Collaborate on strategy with our People, Risk & Compliance, and other teams to ensure accessible experiences for everyone who works with us.

  • You will help setup Accessibility Automation testing to detect accessibility violations at an early stage of SDLC.

  • You'll work with your immediate team and the broader engineering organization to oversee and act as an advocate of user-centered thinking and accessibility throughout our products. Influence and guide future inclusiveness and accessibility through design systems.

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing team to use inclusive practices on their day-to-day life at Cornerstone.

  • Evangelize inclusive design and accessibility internally and externally.

  • Educate and provide training on a regular cadence.

You’ve Got What it Takes if You Have…

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 10+ years of management, operations, and accessibility design/engineering

  • Experience managing and developing a team, including managing managers or leads.

  • Proficiency with a variety of accessibility tools and familiar with Figma, JIRA, and MS applications

  • Fluency in best practices accessibility best practices for software applications

  • Proven ability to work cross-team, synthesize feedback and input from business leaders, customer research/analytics and to deliver inclusive experiences.

  • Excellent verbal, writing, strategic thinking, conceptualization, presentation, facilitation, and organization skills

  • Demonstrated ability in managing multiple projects with relentless attention to detail.
