The Production Manager contributes to excellent sourcing and governance of the production process for any beverage products manufactured in-house or through co-manufacturing. This role serves under the direct supervision of the Senior Coffee Production Manager as the strategic leader of all category recipes and flavor profiles within Shamrock Beverage Manufacturing.

Essential Duties:

  • Assist in sourcing top quality green coffees/raw ingredients and packaging materials at the best price/value ratio to targeted margins.
  • Participate in strengthening existing relationships with importers and suppliers.
  • Support coffee toll roasting and packaging operations to achieve targeted specifications.
  • Manage inventory and manufacturing systems used for processing and inventory records: D365, Cropster, order guides, etc.
  • Directly support day to day operations to ensure accurate and complete manufacturing schedules.
  • Quality control of flavor profiles to targeted attributes.
  • Support brewed quality standards by sampling, cupping and performing on-site tastings at partner locations.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating SOPs to document Shamrock Beverage Manufacturing\'s internal operations and FSMA compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree from a four year college preferred
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in coffee roasting and packing operations.
  • Must be willing to work the demands of food manufacturing which are subject to evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Reaching with hands and arms to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
  • Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds
  • Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
  • Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Vision Requirements:

  • Close, distance, color and peripheral vision.
  • Depth perception.
  • The ability to adjust focus.
