An expanding company in the Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance industry has a great opportunity for a Human Resources Assistant looking to grow their career. If you are a self-starter, this position may be perfect for you. The company is known for its stellar work environment and is looking for someone highly skilled and motivated who will handle a variety of personnel related administrative tasks, as well as provide administrative support to the Human Resources department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. This is Human Resources Assistant role is a great opportunity for a candidate looking for a long-term contract to hire position.

Key responsibilities

• Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.

• Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientations, and ensuring completion of all required paperwork.

• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide assistance on HR-related matters.

• Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.

• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.

  Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in human resources or related administrative role.

• Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and HRIS systems.
