How will you make a difference to PMI? The PMOGA Community Lead will oversee the management and growth of the PMO Global Alliance subcommunity under the PMI umbrella. This role requires a strategic leader who can effectively manage various aspects of the community, fostering engagement, growth, and alignment with PMI's broader goals. What you'll bring to the role: Membership Management: Develop and implement strategies to recruit, engage, and retain PMOGA members, continually assessing member needs and satisfaction. Ensure these strategies are aligned and integrated with broader PMI objectives, collaborating closely with related PMI departments. Regional Hubs Management: Lead the formation and support of regional hubs, facilitating collaboration with PMI Chapters and alignment with the PMOGA's strategic goals. Work in close coordination with PMI RMDs and other areas to enhance local engagement and foster a unified community approach. Volunteer Management: Design comprehensive volunteer management programs, including recruitment, training, engagement, and retention strategies. Coordinate these efforts with other PMI areas and initiatives to build a robust volunteer base that supports PMOGA subcommunity operations and broader organizational goals. Online Community Platform Oversight: Supervise the PMOGA online community platform, establishing and implementing a strategy to ensure members' engagement. Partnership Management: Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships with external organizations to secure resources, increase community value, and expand the PMOGA's influence and reach. Work with other PMI teams to align strategies and leverage existing relationships. Awards Management: Organize and oversee the PMOGA awards programs and collaborate with other PMI areas to maintain consistency and integrity across all awarding processes. Content Management Oversight: Direct the strategy for content creation, curation, and dissemination across multiple channels, ensuring alignment with PMI's overall content strategy. Collaborate with PMI's marketing and communications teams to enhance reach and impact. Event Management: Plan and implement a comprehensive calendar of events, both online and in-person, that cater to the community's professional development and networking needs. Coordinate with PMI's event planning teams to ensure the implementation of PMOGA events and their integration into the broader PMI event portfolio. Role Qualifications: Experience in community management or similar function Experience within a global or multicultural environment Project management experience helpful
