Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking skilled and motivated Maintenance Mechanics to join our team in the Greater Philadelphia Area. We have positions that are more mechanically inclined and some that are more electrically inclined. The ideal candidates will have strong experience in mechanical maintenance and repair, with a focus on ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify, and rebuild heavy industrial machinery.

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.

  • Read, follow, and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

  • Contribute to safety and environmental programs to meet regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with team members and work independently with little or no supervision.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and tools.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing concepts and OSHA requirements (preferred).

The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, modifying, rebuilding, with a focus on electrical/PLC, mechanical, hydraulics/pneumatics, machining, and conveyor systems.
