We are offering a contract long term contract opportunity with one of our clients in the Telecommunications Industry:

Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Support the XM performance team for measuring the wireless network performance including 4G, 5G and Wi Fi network Mobile.

• Develop and maintain testing strategy, test plans and test cases for measuring the overall customer experience.

• Collect logs and perform triaging of defects from device testing.

• Perform a walk test in the field to simulate some customer experience use cases.

• Prepare the test report and presentation to show the test finding.

• Coordinate debugging sessions between OEMs and engineering teams to investigate issues for resolution.

• Support other device technology initiatives & new feature rollout, including Data offload over WiFi, Data offload over CBRS network via DSDS, mmWave, 5G SA etc.

• Ability to work adhere to all NDAs and work on confidential projects. Able to drive technical conversations with OEM partners with regards to device defects and debugging as needed.

• Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams deliver activities and tasks necessary for successful launch and achievement of business objectives

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum

• 7 or more years of device testing & certification experience in lab or in the field.

• Good understanding of wireless technologies including VoLTE, VoWiFi, 4G, 5G (SA and NSA) network architecture and protocols.

• 2+ year of experience in triaging device defects on Android or iOS devices.

• 2+ year of experience in device logging tools like QXDM, XCAP, XCAL etc.

• Ability to work in a collaborative environment.

• Good interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and problem-solving skills.

• Strong motivator and communicator both verbally and through written instruction

• BS/BE degree in related discipline strongly desired (e.g. Engineering)

  Preferred

• Master’s degree in engineering or related field with 5 years’ experience.

• Strong knowledge of WiFi, 4G, 5G (SA & NSA) call flows and network architecture.

• 2+ year of experience in working on iOS & Android devices in a carrier lab & field certification environment.

• 1+ year of experience in managing requirements in JIRA or equivalent.

• Prior experience in device testing automation or knowledge of test script is preferred.

• Must be able to work in Philadelphia office daily.

• Experience with Keysight test equipment is a plus.
