We are seeking a reliable and organized File Clerk to join a dynamic leading real estate firm on a short-term contract basis located in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. As a File Clerk you will be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and retrieving paper and electronic documents and manage a backlog of files.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for filing away papers, folders, and other necessary documents in an organized manner.

• Maintain an efficient and systematic control of the filing system.

• Assist in organizing the office and the filing system to enhance ease of access to documents.

• Ensure all files are easily accessible for quick retrieval.

• Offer assistance to other team members in managing and organizing their paperwork.

• Maintain confidentiality and security of the files and documents.

• Conduct regular audits of the filing system to ensure its effectiveness.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure all files are up to date and properly filed.

• Develop and implement new filing systems if required.

Requirements

• Proficiency in organizing and maintaining files

• Demonstrated ability in filing documents accurately

• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly

• Proficiency in using office equipment such as photocopiers, scanners, and printers

• Basic knowledge of computer software, including word processing and spreadsheet applications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies in documents

• Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
