General Job Description: This is managerial building operations work directing the provision of a continuous custodial services program in a large airport terminal complex or several large municipal office buildings. The employee in this class directs, through subordinate supervisors, a large number of supervisory staff, semi-skilled and unskilled workers on assigned shifts and is responsible for managing human capital, budgeting, resource allocation, requisitioning and stores activities necessary to support a major custodial services operation.
The Requirements are as follows:
1. EDUCATION: Completion of two years study at an accredited college or university.
NOTE: Completion of an industry relevant certification or additional years of experience may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis.
AND
*2. *GENERAL EXPERIENCE:** Five years of building maintenance or janitorial services experience in a major building or group of buildings.
AND
*3. *SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:** Three years of second-level supervisory experience directing a custodial staff as a Custodial Work Supervisor 2 or equivalent level for multiple buildings.
